Home Office fees set to increase on 8 April 2026

The Government has announced an increase to a number of immigration and nationality fees. Some of the headline changes include:

  • Sponsor licence fee for Worker (small sponsor), Temporary Worker or Student: increase of £37 to £611.
  • Sponsor licence fee for Worker (large sponsor): increase of £103 to £1,682.
  • Skilled Worker/Minister of Religion visa (application submitted outside the UK, sponsored for three years or less): increase of £50 to £819.
  • Skilled Worker/Minister of Religion visa (application submitted inside the UK, sponsored for three years or less): increase of £58 to £943.
  • Religious Worker visa: increase of £21 to £340.
  • Indefinite Leave to Remain: increase of £197 to £3,226.
  • Naturalisation (British citizenship): increase of £104 to £1,709.

At the time of writing, the fees for Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), and visa priority services remain the same.

The changes are set to come into force on 8 April 2026. Individuals or organisations making immigration applications in the near future should therefore be aware of the increases as they may impact upcoming plans and budgets.
