The Association of Colleges (AoC) has just published a report, From treatment to prevention: how colleges can build a healthier society, which examines the role of our country's colleges in contributing to preventative healthcare in their communities. Shining a light on current initiatives evidenced by a series of case studies, the report makes important recommendations around:

• recognition of what colleges can contribute in this space;
• the need for better coordination between all stakeholders;
• how funding can be better deployed; and
• what good governance and oversight should encompass.
